E-Safety

Computing and Online Safety

At our school, we are committed to helping pupils develop confidence and competence in their use of technology, while enjoying the learning process. Digital literacy is a vital skill for the modern world, and we aim to ensure that all students are equipped to use technology safely, responsibly and effectively in their daily lives.

Online safety is a central part of our Computing curriculum. We place a strong emphasis on helping pupils understand how to navigate the digital world thoughtfully and securely, both at school and at home. Through regular discussions, lessons and awareness campaigns, we encourage a proactive and informed approach to staying safe online.

Our school is well-resourced, with a dedicated computer suite and access to individual iPads that support the development of computing skills across the curriculum. Every classroom features an interactive whiteboard, providing opportunities for dynamic, engaging and interactive teaching.

This page contains a selection of helpful tips and posters to support online safety at home and in school.
