About Victoria College
Victoria College was founded in 1852 by Queen Victoria, as a Government of Jersey owned and operated school for the purpose of offering education for Jersey’s boys.
Steeped in history, Victoria College has been an iconic part of Jersey’s heritage. Today, working with its associated Victoria College Preparatory School, education is offered to boys from the ages of 6 to 18.
The aforementioned Preparatory school opened in 1922 where 300 boys (aged 7 to 11) from Years 3 to 6 have access to a huge range of exciting opportunities and educational experiences.
The boys continue to their secondary education at the College from Year 7 to Year 11, when they take GCSE examinations, and then on to our unique Sixth Form in Years 12 and 13 for A Levels, where we work in close collaboration with Beaulieu Convent School and Jersey College for Girls to support a wide diversity of subject choices and opportunities.
We strive to employ the best teachers and operational staff to offer our students a world of opportunity and to create a vibrant and supportive community. That community extends beyond our historic walls to include a wide range of stakeholders, including our Old Victorian Association and our Victoria College Parent Association.
