VCJ Foundation
THE FOUNDATION WAS LAUNCHED IN 2002 AS PART OF THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE OPENING OF VICTORIA COLLEGE.
The Victoria College Foundation's sole purpose is to provide bursaries.
The Foundation is a Jersey limited company and Registered Charity (No 412).
The main objectives of the Foundation are:
- To widen access to the education offered by Victoria College, with a particular focus on supporting pupils from low-income families through the provision of means-tested bursaries, enabling talented individuals to benefit from a first-class education regardless of financial circumstance.
- To advance the education of students at Victoria College by providing financial support to enhance the academic, co-curricular, and personal development opportunities available, ensuring that all pupils are able to realise their full potential and thrive.
- To promote social mobility and the development of talent, by creating opportunities for capable, inquisitive, ambitious young people to access, participate in, and benefit from an outstanding education, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and ambition to succeed and contribute meaningfully to society.
The Victoria College Foundation is an independent charitable organisation, separate from Victoria College. It raises and distributes funds for bursaries in accordance with its charitable objectives, ensuring that all support is awarded on a fair, transparent, and needs-based basis.
Become a Foundation Partner
Becoming a Foundation Partner with Victoria College creates a strong bond between our school and your organisation. The support provided by Foundation Partners is invaluable to both our students and the school as a whole.
Foundation Partners are welcome to decide their level of support to the school, should it be offering bursary support for one or multiple students, or one-off donations.
Our Foundation Partners often contribute their time and expertise to our student's career development by taking part in our Careers Fairs, Careers Speed Networking event, mock job interviews and more. The Foundation Partnership agreement is an annual contract which may allow the Foundation Partner access to our Graduate 'Keep In Touch' contact database of recently graduated students. Partnerships with the Foundation also bring opportunities for project, event and awards sponsorship.
Our students pride themselves on not only being academically successful, but well-rounded young gentlemen who would be an asset to any organisation, as they begin to build their careers after leaving school.

There are various ways you can make a donation to the Victoria College Foundation:

Leave a Legacy
Bequests to Victoria College have always been fundamental to the future of the College. Importantly, a gift does not need to be large to make an impact. Every contribution makes a difference.
The combination of more minor bequests over time has had a wide-ranging positive impact across many programs that continue to benefit Victoria College students and provide the life-changing gift of a Victoria College education.
The names of those who have left a bequest to Victoria College live on through the lasting benefit their gift means to our boys.
