A Level Results 2026 - 97% Secure Their First or Insurance Choice Destination

Victoria College Sixth Form students were welcomed into the Great Hall today to receive their A Level and other Level 3 qualification results.

Senior staff offered support and guidance to the boys as they make the next important decisions about their futures, as did many members of staff who wanted to share in person the successes with the students.

Prior to any potential uplifts seen through examination reviews and resits, Victoria College’s results were as follows: 12% A*, 30% A*-A, 56% A*-B and 81% A*-C. 20% of students achieved a grade profile including at least 3 A*s or As, and 10% of the cohort attained at least 2 A*s in their grade profile. Over 99% of all qualifications were passed at A*-E. For those students applying to university, 97% secured places at their first or insurance choice destinations. Headteacher Dr Gareth Hughes said:

"I am delighted for this year's Upper Sixth students and enormously proud of all they have accomplished. Their time at Victoria College has been defined by determination, resilience and a willingness to embrace challenge. The results they receive today are the product of sustained hard work over many years and are thoroughly deserved. These students have led by example, supported one another and played a full part in the rich life of the school. They leave Victoria College as capable, confident and compassionate young people, ready to make their mark on the world.

I would like to thank our dedicated staff and our parents and carers for the guidance and encouragement they have provided throughout these students' educational journeys. It has been a privilege to watch this cohort grow and develop, and I look forward to following their future successes with great interest."
