Victoria College had a full inspection by the UK Independent Schools Inspectorate in November 2017 amd the full report can be downloaded below. We are pleased with the resuls and are working on the recommendations so that we can keep building successful futures for our boys.

In addition, the Jersey Education Department has prepared standardised data reports for all secondary schools and has asked for these to be published on school websites to provide information on school/pupil characteristics, progress and attainment and attendance.

Their latest report (from 2016) confirms the high academic standards reached by students at Victoria College compared to all schools and selective schools on Jersey.

  • In general, the school showed significant improvement in the 2015 figures compared to 2014

  • Although the school has few students classed with Special Educational Needs, they perform well, with 100% making expected progress in mathematics and English. All of this group achieved at least 5 A*-C grades at GCSE.

  • Middle and High Attaining students also reached their potential . In 2015 Victoria College performed better than the average for all schools, and selective schools in % of pupils making expected progress in English and mathematics together with % of students achieving 5 A*-C including English and Maths.

  • 25% of our A level students achieved AAB or better.

  • Victoria College students achieved very high attendance rates (94.9%).
