Year 11
The Year 11 programme starts with the needs of Health and
Safety whilst in the workplace, and some ideas on how to deal with
issues should they arise. Students embark on a two week work
placement and will be visited by a member of staff from the College
to ensure all is progressing well.
After work experience, students will receive information
from Careers Jersey on Further Education in the Island, as well as
employment possibilities.
Current Sixth Formers will visit your Year 11 tutor groups
to talk about life in the Sixth Form and what students should
expect.
In the Spring Term, application forms, CV's, references,
local employment and legislation, labour Market information and
Trade Unions are covered.
