If you don't know what you want to do after you leave school, you are not alone - many people feel the same way. There are many things you can do to help yourself, and the Careers Service is here to support you. In order to get started, you may need to find out about yourself and what your strengths and weaknesses are. These areas will be covered in your careers sessions on a Tuesday with your tutors in Years 9, 10 and 11.

Students are encouraged to consult with Mrs Job, the Head of Careers, on any aspect of careers planning. If you are in Years 9 - 11 you can also see your Head of Year for initial assistance.

Knowing about yourself is one of the key factors in effective career choice and planning. Thinking about questions such as "What am I good at?" and "What do I want out of a job?" will help to narrow down your search.

Kudos is a computer guidance programme available through college that helps young people plan their future and make informed decisions.

Kudos is ideal for 13-19 year olds.  It provides young people with a personalised experience based on their interests and educational aspirations to suggest suitable careers. They can explore these suggestions or look at their own career ideas; they can then see how well matched they are to them.  A useful 'Dashboard' feature provides a centralised point for accessing all of the program's features.
