Citizenship Award

The Citizenship and Co-Curricular Awards

Applications Open for 2018-19

The awards were launched in 2014 in recognition of leadership, personal challenge, and work in the community. They are unique because they allow a student in Year 7 to compete against a student in Year 13 who provides evidence of pursuing personal interests, challenges and a range of services in their own time.

How to Apply

Students can collect ratings and signatures (written on to the forms) from their teachers/club leaders/ charity managers. Forms are available from the Awards Co-coordinator, John-Paul Fidrmuc.

The awards are generously supported by Moore Stephens and Quilter Cheviot Investment Management. The sponsors take part in the judging with the Headmaster where students are able to develop presentation and interview skills. In addition to being able to win a Co-Curricular Tie there are a number of top awards:

  • Citizenship Award

An engraved gold medal and cash prize of £500 - to be split with the charity/organisation of the winner's choice.

  • Co-Curricular Awards

The three top Co-Curricular winners for Junior, Colt and Senior receive an iQ voucher worth £150.

  • In Honour

Winners of the four top awards will be entered on to the Honours' Board in the main building.
