We are a selective boys’ day school of 670 students with 180 in the Sixth Form and a dedicated Preparatory School which currently has 270 students aged from 7 to 11. Victoria College is a fee-paying States school. The campus is outstandingly beautiful, overlooking the capital town of St Helier. Our Victorian buildings, set within woodland and lawns, are roomy, light and well-equipped.

We have strong traditions dating back to 1852 and a long record of academic excellence. The Headmaster is a member of the Headmaster’s Conference (HMC) and all our staff are employed by the States of Jersey.

Students take an entrance exam in November for entrance the following September. Fees for students are currently £2,060 per term and the school is also part-funded by the States of Jersey, which provides and annual grant per student.

VCJ – Teacher of Mathematics

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate graduate Teacher of Mathematics, to work within a supportive team in this crucial area of the curriculum.  The teacher should have the ability to engage and inspire pupils throughout all year groups.  The College supports a wide ranging Co-Curricular programme and the successful candidate will hopefully contribute to this.

This role is a full time and permanent position. 5 years residency is not required.
