About Victoria College

Victoria College was founded in 1852 by Queen Victoria, for the purpose of offering education for Jersey’s boys.

Steeped in history, Victoria College has been an iconic part of Jersey’s heritage. Today, the school offers education to boys from the age of 6 to 18, through Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form.

We have a thriving Preparatory School that opened in 1922 where 300 boys (aged 7 to 11) from Years 3 to 6 have access to a huge range of exciting opportunities and educational experiences.

The boys continue to their secondary education at the College from Year 7 to Year 11, when they take GCSE examinations, and then on to our unique Sixth Form in Years 12 and 13 for A Levels.

We strive to employ the best teachers and support staff to offer our students a world of opportunity with a huge range of possibility.

We are committed to academic excellence and aim to nurture well-rounded, resilient young men who have the skills, attitudes and values to be successful and make a positive contribution to society.
