Art
The Art Department at Victoria College has a
reputation for producing high quality and ambitious work. Students
achieve excellent GCSE and A' level grades with a number of
students' work being recognized by the examining board as some of
the best nationally.
Annually, a large proportion of sixth form students studying Art
opt to take arts based courses at higher education, such as
foundation courses, architecture, product design, graphics and
photography.
Students of all ages participate in local exhibitions such as The
Jersey Spring Eisteddfod and Jersey Arts Centre schools
exhibitions. In recent years, GCSE and A' level work was selected
for two major exhibitions at 'The Custard Factory' Exhibition
Centre in Birmingham which celebrated the achievements of some of
the best art work by students at secondary school level in the
United Kingdom.
