Trips
Learning is not confined to the classroom at VCJ. We pride
ourselves on the number and range of trips we offer that provide
pupilsthe chance to stretch themselves, whilst gaining an insight
into other cultures.
With over 50 trips running each year, there should certainly be
something to spark your interest. Activity Week sees the academic
curriculum put on hold for the whole week, although there are many
trips running throughout the year too. From language trips to
outdoor pursuit trips for DofE and CCF, as well as Sport, Drama and
Music tours.

- Hockey in Amsterdam
- 'Inter-railing' in Europe
- Maths Challenge Competitions in UK
- Multiple sports trips to Guernsey & the UK.
- Multiple CCF Trips to the UK (gliding, sailing,
parachuting)
- Spanish Trip to Barcelona
- Surfing in France
- Theatre Trip to London
- World Challenge to Ecuador
All trips are approved by the Education, Sport & Culture
department of the States of Jersey and follow the guidelines set
out.
VCJ trips are covered by the ESC insurance policy - policy
documents are found attached below along with pdf files for
application to trips to Cauterets and China in 2013.
