Bruce and Quilter Cheviot

Quilter Cheviot partners the Foundation through the Victoria Citizenship and Co-Curricular Awards, the Bruce House and the Maths curriculum.

Quilter Cheviot works with the Victoria College Foundation to progress a shared objective of investing in the future of education and helping young people to develop their skills.

The investment management firm has been supporting the newsletter for the last four editions and will continue to do so. The newsletter is printed twice a year and mailed out to 5,000 alumni in Jersey and worldwide.

Quilter Cheviot also supports the Victoria Citizenship Award and Victoria College Co-Curricular Awards alongside Moore Stephens. The awards celebrate outstanding achievement by students in their endeavours outside of academic study. The firm has agreed to support this up until September 2019.

The business has also worked with the Foundation in support of their new Bursary (hardship fund) where money has been raised through a series of talks by high profile speakers. We have been delighted to support a 'Living Memories' Newspaper project in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation. This project brought together families and alumni with high potential learning students who had the chance to develop skills with professional journalists at the Jersey Evening Post and explore this important aspect of Island history. Quilter Cheviot is also delighted to support Bruce House and the English Curriculum.

Memories of Victoria College

Former pupil, Head of International and Head of Jersey Office, Tim Childe, said: "I was privileged to attend Victoria College and it prepared me for life in so many ways. My fondest memories were the friendships I formed, the varied activities that I experienced and the skillsets that I picked up during my eight years in attendance. It was an inspirational place to be and we were always encouraged to set personal challenges, find solutions and help to make a difference. I certainly have a lot to thank them for."
