Royal Navy
The Royal Navy Section was formed in 1976. The current
establishment is 36 Cadets and 2 Officers.
The Royal Navy Section offers cadets the opportunity to experience
a variety of activities based on and around the water. These
include sailing, power boating, pulling and canoeing alongside
further instruction and training to gain the Royal Navy Proficiency
Certificate and then the Royal Navy Advanced Proficiency
Certificate.
The section is divided into two watches, Port and Starboard.
Throughout the year the two watches compete for the coveted 'Best
Watch' prize in a number of events such as fitness, command tasks,
battleships and much more.
